Where is your office located?

How do I purchase a meal plan or add Munch Money to my account?
Visit our Meal Plans section of this website to add Munch Money or purchase a Platinum, Titanium or Gold plan using a credit card. Also, you can send an e-mail to foodmealplans@usi.edu or Eaglecrd@eagles.usi.edu, be sure to include your full name and student ID number(e-mail must come from a student email account (eagles.usi.edu)). In addition, you can fill out a form by visiting the Eagle Access Card Office. Meal plans can be added to the University bill through Thursday of the second week of school. Thereafter, meal plans will need to be paid for at the time of purchase or can be added to your university bill only with pre-approval through the Bursar's office.
What is the benefit of having Munch Money?
Munch Money funds receive a bonus of 7% (up to $690). Also, food purchases with Munch Money are tax-free. Munch money can be used at any food service operation and can also be used for non-food items at the EagleXpress Convenience Store and Starbucks. (Excluding Gift Cards)
How do I choose a meal plan best suited for my needs?
First, decide how much you will be eating on campus. Do you usually eat breakfast, lunch and dinner? Do you get drinks or snacks between meals? Do you tend to snack a lot, rather than eat full meals? How often will you go home to eat? Will you be cooking often? Are you going to be in sports? Observe the times you will be available to dine. The meals are offered for breakfast lunch and dinner. Munch Money / Dining Dollars can be used anytime, anywhere for food service during hours of operation.
Red, White and Blue plans are available for anyone who wants it all, wants the convenience of having meals planned for them, or are a must for those living in a Residence Hall. If you live in a Residence Hall, please choose from a Red, White or Blue plan. These plans offer a set amount of meals per week to be used at the Loft dining hall. A max of 3 meals may be used per day (1 at breakfast, 1 at lunch, 1 at dinner, or 2 during weekend brunch: 1 before and 1 after 1:00 pm) or 1 may be swaped for select combos after 7:00 pm on weekdays and 3:00 pm on weekends at Chick-fil-a, Sub Co, Eagle Eats, and Archie’s, Meal Swaps are also available on weekdays at eagle bistro 2:00 pm - 4:30 pm. Munch Money can be used at anytime at any of the campus dining locations (excluding for gift cards and alcohol). Food Service weeks begin on Friday. Meals that are not used for the week will be forfeited. Any unused Munch Money will carry over from Fall semester to Spring semester and will be forfeited at the end of Spring semester.
Titanium, Platinum, and Gold plans are great for those who enjoy occasionally cooking on their own, but also want the added convenience of having food service options available to them with optimum flexibility. These plans offer a set amount of meals per semester to be used at the Loft dining hall (breakfast, lunch, dinner, or weekend brunch) along with Munch Money can be used at anytime at any of the campus dining locations (excluding for gift cards and alcohol). Any unused meals and Munch Money will carry over from Fall semester to Spring semester and will be forfeited at the end of Spring semester.
How do I change my meal plan?
If you find that the plan you are on does not work for you, come to the Eagle Access Card Office prior to the first day of Spring semester classes and make the appropriate changes. Also, you can e-mail us at foodmealplans@usi.edu or eaglecrd@usi.eagles.edu and be sure to include your full name and student ID number along with the change you would like to make. Red, White and Blue plans- No changes or cancellations can be made after midnight prior to the first day of the semester. Upgrades can be made up to the fourth week.Platinum, Titanium, and Gold plans- no changes or cancellations can be made after midnight prior to the first day of semester classes.
What is the deadline for making changes to my meal plan?
You have until midnight prior to the first day of school each semester to make changes to your Meal Plans in writing. You can come to the Eagle Access Card Office or e-mail us at foodmealplans@usi.edu, be sure to include your full name and student ID number along with the change you would like to make (e-mail must come from your USI e-mail account).
Do I have to sign up for a meal plan each semester?
No. Your Fall Meal Plans choice will automatically renew for the Spring semester. If you find that the plan you are on does not work for you, come to the Eagle Access Card Office prior to the first day of Spring semester classes and make the appropriate changes. What are the benefits of having a meal plan or Munch Money?
There are many benefits to having a Meal Plans or Munch Money. The food items purchased with Munch Money are tax-free. It’s safer than cash and easier to budget. You receive a complimentary bonus of 7% when you add Munch Money to your plan (over $50 and up to $690). In addition to food purchases, you can purchase non-food items such as toilet paper, deodorant, clothing and more from the EagleXpress Convenience Store, and Starbucks. merchandise excluding Starbucks Gift Cards.
What is the difference between Munch Money and Flex Dollars?
Munch Money comes with the Titanium, Gold, and Platinum plans or can be purchased separately and those funds receive a bonus of 7% ($50-$690). They can be used to purchase anything that is sold in the food service operations, including non-food items at the EagleXpress Convenience Store and Starbucks., excluding Starbucks Gift Cards. These funds expire at the end of the spring semester.
Flex Dollars are purchased at the Eagle Access Card Office. This money is non-taxable for food purchases and is not enriched. It can be used in food service operations, the bookstore, copy/printing services and laundry. These funds do not expire.
How often can I use my meals?
Red, White and Blue plans are issued their meals on SATURDAY of each week. You are able to use up to three meals per day, 1 per meal period or 2 during brunch on weekends. 1 meal may also be used for a meal swap after 7:00 pm on weekdays and 3:00 pm on weekends at Chick-fil-A, Sub Co, Eagle Eats, and Archie’s. Also weekdays at Eagle Bistro 2:00pm - 4:30pm
YOU plans are issued their meals on SATURDAY of each week. You are able to use one meal per day. Meal Swaps are also available after 7:00 pm on weekdays and 3:00 pm on weekends at Chick-fil-A, Sub Co, Eagle Eats, and Archie’s. Also weekdays at Eagle Bistro 2:00pm - 4:30pm
Titanium, Platinum, and Gold meals can be used during breakfast, lunch and dinner as well as weekend brunches.
There are a total of 19 Meals available per week in the Loft, plus Red, White or Blue Exchange Meal options 7 nights per week.
What if I am unable to make it to the Loft for my meal?
Red, White, Blue and YOU plans have the option of exchanging their meal swap after 7:00 pm on weekdays and 3:00 pm on weekends at Chick-fil-A, Sub Co, Eagle Eats, and Archie’s. Also weekdays at Eagle Bistro 2:00pm - 4:30pm for select combo meals.
What if I am sick?
If you are sick and unable to make it to the Loft for your meal, please contact the Loft to arrange for a friend to pick it up for you or order off the Grubhub app for kiwibot delivery.
Am I able to take food with me from the Loft?
There are to-go containers available for breakfast, lunch, and dinner meal periods only upon request. The university now utilizes the OZZI to go container system. Just tell the cook you wish to have your food placed in an OZZI to go container. Then when you checkout you will be charged $4.50 for that container (unless you have an OZZI token to exchange). You can use Flex, Munch Money, Cash, Credit Card, or OZZI token to pay for your container. When you are finished with the container, return it to one of two locations (described below) and the machine will dispense an OZZI token to exchange for your next container.

If either machine fails to dispense a token when a container is returned, please visit the Eagle Access Card Office right away.
What happens to my unused meals and Munch Money?
Munch Money will carry over from Fall semester to Spring. All funds left at the end of Spring semester will be forfeited. Unused meals for Titanium, Platinum, and Gold plans will carry over to Spring as well as Munch Money; unused meals for Red, White, and Blue will be forfeited each week. The week starts on Saturday through Friday. Your meals will be available to use at 7:00am Saturday.
How do I check the balance on my card?
With every purchase you make, a declining balance will be shown on your receipt. You can take your card to any register and ask for a balance check. You can also check your balance through the eAccounts portal (accessed through myUSI or link). If the balance shown is in question, you can come to the Eagle Access Card Office for a print out of your transactions. Please allow 24 hours for a report to be generated.
What do I do if my card is lost or stolen?
To protect your funds in case of this event, call Eagle Access Card Office immediately to have your card “frozen” or deactivate your card at the myUSI web site. Upon finding or replacing your card your account can be reactivated. To replace a lost or stolen card, Eagle Access charges a $15 replacement fee. If your card is damaged or worn out, a new one will be made at no charge (as long as the damage is due to normal use). Please see the Eagle Access Card Office website for more details regarding replacement guidelines. If closed, call the Public Safety Office at 812-464-1845.
What do I do if my valuables are lost or stolen?
First, you can check with Food Services. All items found are turned over to Public Safety. To help protect your valuables, do not save your seat with them! Food Services is not liable for any lost or stolen items. Eagle Access Cards can be recovered at the Eagle Access Card Office if they have been found and turned in.
When do I receive my weekly meals? (Red, White & Blue plans)
The week starts on Saturday and runs through Friday. Your meals will be available to use at 7:00am Saturday.
What's a 'meal' consist of?
The meal will consist of a main entrée, three sides and beverage. Sides can be mixed and matched from different stations (including a dessert station) to offer flexibility.
How many meals can I use?
Students on RED, WHITE, or BLUE can use up to three meals per day.
Studenst on YOU plans can use only one meal per day.
Students on RED, WHITE, BLUE, and YOU are issued meals on SATURDAY of each week.
Students on RED, WHITE, BLUE, or YOU meal plans have the option of exchanging meals for select combos at Chick-fil-A, SubConnection, and the Eagle Express convenience store from 7pm - close. Be sure to let your cashier know that you would like to use your Board Exchange Meal to take advantage of this offer.
What happens to my meal plan at the end of a semester?
Any unused Munch Money will carry over from fall semester to spring. All unused money will be forfeited after the last day of spring semester.
For students on GOLD, PLATINUM, or TITANIUM plans, any unused meals will carry over from fall semester to spring. All unused meals will be void on the last day of the spring semester.
All plans automatically renew for the second semester.
If a meal plan needs to be cancelled, it must be done by midnight the day before the beginning of the semester you are cancelling.
What is Grubhub?
Grubhub is a platform that enables students, faculty and staff to order ahead on campus using the Grubhub app. You can download Grubhub from the App store or Google Play Store.
